| Every now and then a helicopter enters the market
that is truly unique. The new electric Lama is case in point. Its
contra-rotating main blades dispense with the need for a tail rotor
system, as there’s no torque to compensate for! Rudder control
is provided by ‘differential’ rotor speed control and stabilised
by a Piezo gyro.Power and control inputs all travel through the ‘umbilical’
cord and this of course makes no limit on flight time! Supplied with
'transmitter'. |
